Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire resides in a sleepy part of Montreal Island, which is known as West Island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of diverse communities. For those who haven't been aware of it frequently confuse it with an island that is west-facing. Amanda Brugel's birthplace has been frequently referenced, however her brief time in the city wasn't. In 2000 she graduated with a BA in Fine Arts at York University. The career of Brugel spans more than 20 years and she's performed in more than 60 shows including big screen productions and on smaller ones. Her most notable role was the one of Rita (pictured below) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel played the role of the character of Rita on The Handmaid's tale, a series that was filmed over ten years ago.
